The Zentangle Monthly Share

October 25th, 10am - Noon

The Zentangle Monthly Share is a time and place for Zentangle artists to come together to share our artwork and new patterns we've learned.

Bring a piece of artwork to share and get entered into the drawing to win a prize! Share a pattern and get entered a second time! Or just come to relax and learn some new patterns.

Zentangle is the practice of creating beautiful images from repeating patterns.

There are over 100 patterns in Zentangle. Each pattern is made up of easy, yet deliberate, strokes of the pen, using combinations of dots, lines and arcs. The pattern is usually non-representational in and of itself, but when the strokes are combined together they make an exquisite impact.

This class is done to relaxation music in our inspirational studio where you can put your intention into your creations. Closed beverages suggested to protect artwork.

If this is your 1st time learning Zentangle, we suggest you also do the afternoon class specifically for beginners (although experience is not necessary to take this one -- you'll just get the full story and my favorite beginner patterns.). Regardless of which session you can attend, 1st timers will get a basic kit so you can continue this art form as a ritual, adding more creativity, focus and beauty into your life.

Each month we will share at least 5 new patterns with variations, tips on creating strings, tiles, and shading -- and end with a collaborative project that has a big impact!

(Note: If this is your 1st Zentangle workshop - please sign-up for the Intro Class INSTEAD listed this same morning so you can start at 9am before this class begins to get the background, philosophy and basic patterns of Zentangle. At 10am this class will join the Intro class.

First session: $35, includes basic Zentangle kit so you can continue this art form as a ritual, adding more creativity, focus and beauty into your life.

Return each month for only $19, and continue to build your own Zentangle toolbox of patterns!
