with Gold Schmincke Powder Accents!

During this session, you will feel like you've drown
and gone to color! You'll be swimming in shimmering shades of your favorite hues and learn how to combine them together to blend or contrast, along with tips for using our favorite hard-to-find Schmincke powder. We LOVE it!
The BONUS project is your choice - we'll have a few to pick from. But (HINT HINT), they will all use sheets and scraps of these fabulous hand painted papers that you make!
Bring your journal along, because you'll have tons of fun scraps that you can trade or glue into your journal . . .
Plus, Zentanglers can use these colors for one-of-a-kind painted drawings - we'll have dozens and dozens of colors for you to use!

It's part open studio,
part informal technique workshop,
and part journal prompt . . . with all supplies included!
Basically, it's DEDICATED TIME for you to PLAY in the studio with a variety of supplies around a particular theme . . . from there you can see where your creativity leads you. (And you are always welcome to bring a project or journal page you are already working on . . . )
Here's the fun twist: we share a sUrPrIsE technique, project or prompt with you each time. You'll get to try out materials you may not have used before. PLUS you may get a chance to win prizes or get your artwork featured on our website, blog, book or video workshop.
So just come as you are, we'll have everything you need to create around the new technique and theme! . . or grab your journal and favorite supplies to bring with you.
It's the perfect way to de-stress and breathe after a long week! It's expressive, it's therapeutic, it's creative and fun! (Recommended for ages 14 and up).
Each pLaY session will have it's own theme -- and new prompts -- so come to as many as you can -- and fill your journal with fun techniques!
Sample agenda: (Be on time so you don't miss anything!)
15 min: Refreshments & inspiration
10 min: Theme and creativity warm-up
25 min: New technique or project demo/skill practice
1 hour: Open pLaY time to journal and create!
25 min: Ideas, reflect, share (optional) and prizes!
Note: You must have a minimum of 5 people signed up in order to hold this session, and no more than 12. So please register early to save your spot.
