Are You Living Your Life in Color? Pay attention to what your life story can tell you. It’s a journey worth pursuing now, because life is too short to be lived unintentionally.
This retreat will allow you to take a step back, look at your current and past situations through a fresh perspective: using art techniques, creative projects and spiritual reflection time that you can personalize according to your faith.
During this retreat, we will use ColorBurst to paint beautiful backgrounds and then continue adding more and more layers, using stencils and stamps, monoprinting, and various collage techniques. We’ll use these papers to cover a journal, plus create a unique heart collage and mixed-media footprints for the Creative Journey Exhibit. The bonus session in the evening gives you more time to work in the studio with our full collection of ARTfoamies stamps, acrylic paint, stencils, sprays, collage drawers and more . . .
Retreat Experience:
This is a great retreat to come see how The ARTbar blends art + heart + spirit to invite God into our art making experiences. Learn about the other retreats coming up, as well as The Artist’s Way Creativity Circle.
Includes a cool art bag, custom-created color sprays, entry fees for the exhibit opening in May (optional), along with all supplies used during the retreat for the projects.
What to bring (optional): a ready-to-eat lunch and plan to buy dinner locally or chip in for pizza; also your journal (if you have one you want to add to) any of your favorite journaling pens/markers or other art supplies for collage/mixed-media; (paints, color sprays, stencils and stamps are all available to use).
