Intro to Zentangle (ZEN1)

There are over 100 patterns in Zentangle. Each pattern is made up of easy, yet deliberate, strokes of the pen, using combinations of dots, lines and arcs. The pattern is usually non-representational in and of itself, but when the strokes are combined together they make an exquisite impact.

This class is done to relaxation music in our inspirational studio where you can put your intention into your creations. Closed beverages suggested to protect artwork.


First session: $35, includes basic Zentangle kit

Once you take this class and learn the philosophy and HOW EASY it is, you can take ANY of our Zentangle classes!  

Just bring your kit along . . .

Please note our new registration policy in order to help our participants and instructors plan our creative events:

Participant registrations that are canceled within 3 days or more may reschedule to another class taught by the same instructor.  Please notify us by email of class cancellation and choice of rescheduled date at Nicole@theARTbar.net.  Class registrations within 2 days prior to class are finalized and cannot be refunded, although they can be transferred to another person.  The final count of registered participants helps our instructor plan spaces and meet our minimum numbers of students needed to hold the class.  If class minimums are not met, we will notify you 2 days prior and process refunds or reschedules.  Last minute registrations may be accepted, but please know that we cannot guarantee an available space or notify you in the event a class has cancelled.
