The Zentangle OPUS Collaborative!
Everyone gets to choose a ZENTANGLE BOOK to keep! *
This is a great way to find new favorite tangles, whether you are experienced or new to tangling! As long as you have one tangle that you love to draw, you can do this! (And if you can't think of any tangles, make sure to come to our earlier session to learn some new ones, and get special pricing on both sessions.)
---------------------------------------
Opus means "an artistic work, especially one on a large scale."
One Opus tile per person is included in the price, which is a 10.5" square with deckle edges and beautiful calligraphy on the back. These paper tiles are made from the same elegant Fabriano paper as the original Zentangle tiles. Of course, the front is blank and ready for your favorite tangles!

You can choose Renaissance (sepia) or white. Bring along your favorite patterns and a handful of your black (and brown) Micron pens (in case one or more wear out!). We will also have idea books for you to use, as well as pens available for sale. You are also welcome to bring your own projects to work on during this Open Studio time.
Optional:
You're invited to add to a collaborative tile in memory of Zentangle Artist Michelle Hughes. You are also encouraged to add a favorite tangle to each other's tile so you can all take home your own collaborative piece of artwork to frame!
Come be part of a special, collaborative group of Zentangle artists who will gather together to celebrate our love for Zentangle. In honor of Michelle, 50% of the class price will be donated to the American Cancer Society, one of Michelle's favorite charities.
As a special gift from Michelle's husband Paul, you will all get to choose a Zentangle book from Michelle's wonderful collection to honor her memory. And you'll have plenty of awesome books to choose from!
---------------------------------------------------
Come relax and share your love of Zentangle with your fellow artists around you!
Plus afterward you'll want to visit the Dia de Los Muertos exhibits and festival on 4th street. The best time to go is when the day transitions to night and the altars come to life! (By coming this early, you'll have a much easier time parking - and it's just a quick block walk away from us!)
