HEartPRAYER:  Blessing of the Hands

(pictured above: a sneak peak of a portion of it)

Let's DRAW a HEartPRAYER in our journals or on any piece of paper in honor of all the healthcare providers on the front-line.

 The "Blessing of the Hands" is a nondenominational tradition that is performed in many hospitals and nursing centers around the world.  This beautiful ceremony unites healthcare workers in their shared journey of caring for patients in their time of needs, whether directly or indirectly.   And it offers them recognition and compassion for the hard job that they do every day!

I'll share an easy pattern we can draw,  all artistic levels and ages can do this!  Your prayer can be a blessing or a thank you message that you can write around your drawing when you finish it.

This is our chance to thank, pray for, and send thoughts of love to healthcare providers for their courage and compassion --   especially during this time!

Upon registering, you'll receive links to a video so that you can follow along.

Gather the following supplies - whatever you have around you:

* Paper (any drawing paper or journal)

* Pencil and Eraser

* Drawing pen (preferably a smear-proof, fine line black pen)

* (optional) fine red pen or colored pencil

* (optional) tortillon or blending stump

Prayer is not only powerful for those you pray for -- but also gives you a moment of peace.  If you are feeling anxiety or concern, drawing a blessing or thankful note can give you a chance to breathe and take a break from your stressful situation.  Please join us and try it out!

All fees are waived for this class.  Please enjoy and God bless!
