Meditation Monday:  Drawing Love Notes

"The Words You Need to Hear"

with Nicole Steiman

recording from 2/13/23

Let's create space in our day and in our hearts

for a moment of relaxation and quiet

to draw LOVE Notes - for ourselves or for someone else!

Cameras and microphones are optional, join from the comfort and privacy of your own space.  Or listen to the recording later at your own convenience.

This session's meditation is about the words we need to hear.  What if you could take a time out in the midst of negative self talk to draw a 3 minute meditation and write the words that your soul needs.  This is that meditation that you NEED to draw!

(Designs will vary each week - it will always be a surprise!  The one shown above is just a sample of our first meditation.  Supplies are listed below but feel free to just come with a black drawing pen, pencil and any paper.)

Did you know drawing can be a way to meditate, relax and de-stress from the day? Although the result will be beautiful, we'll use simple patterns that are relaxing to draw no matter what age or skill you have.  Allow yourself to be surprised by how they turn out!

Eat dinner early, eat dinner later, or come with a smoothie!  All time zones welcome!  Plan an hour if you can, but even just a half hour will get you started.  Can’t make the time or something comes up?  We’ll send out a recording afterward so you can follow along at your own pace and time.

We all need a little more LOVE and KINDNESS in our lives.  Let’s draw together!

* any black drawing pen (such as Micron PN, Micron 01 or Sharpie Fine Point Pen)

* pencil and eraser

* any paper (the nicer the better, such as mixed media or watercolor paper)

any size but I like to work with a long skinny paper, like a bookmark size, about 2" by 6" or longer

Optional Supplies:

(video links with tips included)

* Colored Pens or pencils
