Designs will vary each week as a surprise, as we explore easy ways to create woven patterns, Celtic knots and braided borders! Supplies listed below but feel free to just come with a black drawing pen and any paper.
Did you know drawing can be a way to meditate, relax and de-stress from the day? Although the result will be beautiful, we'll use simple patterns that are relaxing to draw no matter what age or skill you have. Allow yourself to be surprised by how they turn out!
We’ll start with an easy pattern, even simpler than writing the alphabet! The repetition of the design will help to quiet your heart as you draw this as a little note for someone, for yourself or even as a prayer. I'll share some tips, ideas and variations. And then we’ll end our time so you can continue your meditation in your own way: add your own finishing touches or just sit in silence and reflect.
Eat dinner early, eat dinner later, or come with a smoothie! All time zones welcome! Plan an hour if you can, but even just a half hour will get you started. Can’t make the time or something comes up? We’ll send out a recording afterward so you can follow along at your own pace and time.

* any black drawing pen (such as Micron PN, Micron 01 or Sharpie Fine Point Pen)
* any paper (the nicer the better, such as mixed media or watercolor paper)
* a cup of tea
* a paintbrush
