Intro to Zentangle - perfect for beginners!

There are over 100 patterns in Zentangle. Each pattern is made up of easy, yet deliberate, strokes of the pen, using combinations of dots, lines and arcs. The pattern is usually non-representational in and of itself, but when the strokes are combined together they make an exquisite impact.

This class is done to relaxation music in our inspirational studio where you can put your intention into your creations. Closed beverages suggested to protect artwork.

If this is your 1st time learning Zentangle, we suggest you do this class (if you can) so you get the full history behind Zentangle and my favorite patterns to start with. 1st timers will get a basic kit so you can continue this art form as a ritual, adding more creativity, focus and beauty into your life.

Note:  This class overlaps with the Monthly Gathering workshop that starts at 10am.  So after the intro portion from 9am - 10am, you will get to learn more patterns with others who join us and well as see a variety of artwork in progress for other experience Tanglers.

Each month we will share at least 5 new patterns with variations, tips on creating strings, tiles, and shading -- and end with a collaborative picture that has a big impact!  So after taking this class, come back each month to the morning session "Zentangle Monthly Gathering" to keep learning more.

First session: $35, includes basic Zentangle kit
